Diltiazem and Flecainide Reaction with other Meds.
Has anyone here taken any of the tricyclic antedepressants ( amitriptyline, nortriptyline,
desipramine
etc.) with their heart drugs?Any ill effects? The dosage of the Nortripyline is so small I just wonder if there would be any significant interaction. Any comments would be appreciated. Mary

Happy Holidays
One ,
desipramine
, supposedly slows down prostate cancer. NIH scoffed at that. I took a lot of aspirin starting out , was told to quit that by NIH. My theory was eliminating inflammation was a good thing. My bone mets dried up so far.

As an ADHD Adult 3 things saved me
She was on
Desipramine
for years. My doctor tried a variety of anti-depressants and stimulants on me for ADHD to no avail. I asked if I took my mom's medication since we are related if it might help me. The doctor thought my suggestion was good.
