Coversyl

Hello does anyone take Coversyl 10 mg, any side effects, I’m curious because my husband takes it with no side effects, I take lercanidipine 10mg with horrendous side effects, trying to get my GP. To change mine.

I also take coversyl for BP. My cardiologist also prescribed Flecainide as a PIP when I get an A.Fib episode. I am to take one 100 mg tablet at onset and if the A.Fib still there after four hours I am to take another one.

I am currently taking 2 grains but atm have raised cholesterol, grade 2 Hypertension which my GP wants to start me on Coversyl 5mg for, and PCOS.

I was put on beta blockers (Tenormin Mitis, 50 mg daily) and a drug called Coversyl (10 mg daily). Since then, my resting pulse has been between 70-80 beats per minute and my BP around 120/80-140/90 (the latter often in the doctor's office, the former at home).

I started on 5 mg of Coversyl and 25 mg of Tenormin, and have since worked my way up to 10 mg of Coversyl and 100 mg of Tenormin. In September, my BP was excellent (120/78), and my resting pulse ca 80 bpm. Today, my BP was back up again (150/86), and my resting pulse is nearly 100 bpm.

The only other medication i use is betablocker 50 mg and Coversyl 4 Mg I stopped using statiins months ago as I dont think I need this anymore as my cholestrol is now in the 5.5 range without statiins. If anyone else has had a similar side effect with plavix let me know please.
