Having read Dr Peatfields chapter on Candida I did the spit test, and as I thought, yep, seems I have it . I want to tackle this BUT there is a massive range of stuff out there! I have read old threads on the subject, and think I will go for the 3 weeks of Fluconazole, the diet and probiotics. Has

One of the side affect to my chemo was oral thrush which made me feel quite unwell.
My last bout of chemo was dec 2011 followed by an op jan 2012, the evil thrush returned 4 weeks later and so I was given tablets to clear this up, but now 6 months later I think the dreaded oral thrush has come back has anyone else experienced the same thing?? I was given at the time fluconazole tablets

Asthma & Medication
Hi All, I'm after a little advice from real life asthma sufferers as I am not too sure/confused about mine. Firstly I will apologise for the length of the post, but it is necessary to get the details across so sorry... I was diagnosed with asthma 9 months ago (aged 22), after having an 'asthma attack

oral thrush for a year and a half
Hello all I am having a rotten time of it with oral thrush. I have had it for about 18 months, and have had course after course of nystatin, amphotericin, and fluconazole. It just won't go away, no matter what. I have always used a spacer when I take my steroid inhaler, always swill my mouth with water

Lupus & oral thrush?
I'm also suffering endless bouts of oral thrush since last October but as I've got both lupus & Sjogren's I've tended to put it down to the latter. Intrigued to discover that lupus can also be a cause as my GP feels I'm most likely currently in a flare. I've had thedx for 15 years almost but have only
