Stopping clenil modulite
Hi, I have had nosebleeds which is something that I've never had before and a depressed feeling. I'm cutting down and stopping Clenil over the next week, also looking for a natural remedy although I feel ok and I have my blue inhaler for those cold days. Blue inhaler is the thing I used for years by

HUSBAND'S LATEST PSA AFTER ZYTIGA
PSA now 4.20, down from 7.58 in late November, 2018 Below is my husband's signature showing his history. Due to rapid doubling in PSA last summer, he restarted Lupron in September, 2018 then added Zytiga/Prednisone 2/9/2019, three weeks ago. PSA is going in the right direction. He got the report after

ADT Holiday to Locate and Zap Metastases?
My RO has suggested I might wish to consider an ADT holiday and then, when PSA reaches a sufficient level (1.7?), doing an axumin scan. If there are no bone or non-lymph visceral mets, then radiate the pelvic lymph nodes. This was in response to my question about maybe just radiating them now. I will

More proof that results of SBRT are equivalent to IMRT (yet faster and cheaper)
I am pleased that SBRT was my choice of primary therapy 8 years ago. The randomized comparisons are showing that it is at least as beneficial as IMRT, but it takes only 4 or 5 treatments and costs a lot less too. Here are the results of two more randomized clinical trials so far: https://pcnrv.blogspot.com

Has anyone experienced an under active thyroid while on Lupron? If so, how was it treated?
My husband, diagnosed 12/2017, RP 12/2017 (pelvic region was full of cancer - prostate, seminal vesicles, and many nerves removed. Cancer found in several lymph nodes and neck of bladder), PSA at diagnosis 12, Gleason 9, IMRT fall 2018, has been on Lupron since January 2018 with an undetectable PSA

FOSTAIR INHALER
I was referred to a Respiratory nurse last week and she has changed my
CLENIL
MODULITE
over to FOSTAIR. So before I try it I would be grateful for any comment, no matter how short. Many thanks indeed, I am loving the sense of support I get from this site. Thanks to everyone who posts.

Tip for pain during salvage IMRT
After a month of radiation I was getting extreme pain during defecation, particularly bad was uncontrollable spasms in my butt during defecation and even during urination. No one told me about changing diet till now. Anyway, problem fixed, almost instantly, by taking Imodium (with simethicone) which

I'm new here, but been reading for a while! Really need help from all the knowledgeable people here!
My husband was dx with aggressive PC July 2014 at age 57 by 12 core prostate biopsies - 6 on left negative, 6 on right side all with high Gleason scores 3+4, 4+3, 4+3, 4+4, 4+5, 4+4. PSA was only 3.2 but had risen from 2.5 in only 3.5 months so PC was suspected. Due to high GS decided on RP using Robotic

PSMA Scan and HU Altered my Treatment Plan
Thanks to an NIH Clinical Trial and sage advice rendered and received on this forum my treatment plan has changed. I have gone from waiting for my PSA doubling time to reach a critical level to moving forward with aggressive treatment in hopes of beating or beating back my PCa. My background is: RP

PSA and testosterone post radiation
Completed 25 IMRT (45 Gy) and brachtherapy "boost" (110Gy, 39 seeds) with ongoing Firmagon/Eligard (5 mos thus far. Btw, hate the hormones.) Most recent PSA 0.1 and testosterone <3. Methinks both numbers are unreliable given continued hormone therapy but who knows? Anyone out there with similar experience

Initial Diagnosis PCa Stage 4 Mets to Bone (Pelvis)
Age 68 at diagnosis July 2018, prostate biopsy showed 12 segments positive, Gleason=8, subsequent biopsy of pelvis bone positive. Stage 4 metastatic at original diagnosis probably attributed to no PSA test for several years. On degarelix 3 months then switched to Lupron 1 week ago and will continue

Will the need to clear my throat go?
She changed my preventer from
Clenil
Modulite
to a MART inhaler, Fostair (beclometasone and formoterol). I used it last night and had an uninterrupted night's sleep. Hooray! The cough is also gone this morning, apart from a constant need to clear my throat.

4 year old with suspected Asthma
At this point the GP prescribed
clenil
modulite
(brown preventer inhaler) and sent us on our way under the care of the nurse and diagnosed viral asthma. I was unsure with his diagnosis as I thought a proper diagnosis should not be made until at least 5 years old.

Metastasis to lung?
My husband had RRP 4/14, with <0.1 PSA post until 0.2 PSA 12/15. Even though CT, MRI, etc. didn't show anything in pelvic area, RO said it was BCR 12/15 & ordered IMRT (39) & ADT 2-3/2016. After those treatments PSA <0.1 through 11/18 (last test). But husband's complaints of pain in right side of
