Cilostazol

Also is the drug Cilostazol useful in reducing the pain Presume this is a prescription drug and is it worth asking about at the doctors?

I also have Peripheral Arterial Disease and occlusion and stenosis on both left and right carotids for which I am taking a statin (Rosuvastatin) and a blood dialator (Cilostazol).

I am currently on 1/2 mg pred with PMR in remission for the last year; Cilostazol and Rosuvastatin for PAD; low dose Liisinopril for high blood pressure; low dose Omeprazole for ulcer. I have always been a dog walker and still walk over a mile to town and back at the age of 85.

I am having problems of poor blood flow to my legs.My Dr. has given me Cilostazol 50mg 1tablet in morning and one in the evening and Gabapentin 400mg. half tablet in evening. I believe that both these tablets are hard on kidneys. But as per my Dr. this dosage is not much and is O.K.
