Hand Foot Syndrome and/or Neuropathy
Hi All, I have asked about this one before on this list, but with a new year, perhaps it is time to see if anyone has any new ideas. I am on Faslodex, Verzenio, Zometa, and now Retacrit (Procrit), along with pain meds, etc., but it is certainly one of the first three that is causing the problem in my

Faslodex injection pain
I know this has been discussed before in this forum. I have never had a problem before. I had my injections last Wednesday morning and did a lot of running around and tension in the afternoon. Also on Thursday morning did a big shopping. By the time I came home the pain had started at the injection

Lung Ground Glass Opacities
My wife has been on iBrance and Faslodex for two years. Over the past four months her CA 25-27 tumor markers have increased from 52 to 229. Her bone mets still appear stable and the only thing showing up on the scans are ground glass opacities in one lung. The first two ground glass opacities completely

Oral Faslodex?
I read a while back that an oral version of Faslodex was in the last stages of clinical trial. I Ican't find any information on this though. Does any one have info on this? Merry Christmas all and may the new year be better for all of us🙏 Anja Btw I had quite a reaction to the first shots of faslodex

Piqray tolerable by anyone
Just love all the info and comments shared here. Read with great interest posts about Piqray. I am waiting to see if I have the mutation. After being on Ibrance and Faslodex for a year with no progression, that all changed quickly so on to next line of treatment. Has anyone taken Piqray and experienced

Am I alone?
Anyone else out there feeling great? I have side effects which I don't like, however compared to how I was feeling a year ago on diagnosis, I have never felt better. I got rid of my horrible husband and am in my new home, I eat better and am fitter than I have ever been - cycling and jogging.. never

PIK3CA mutation and Piqray with Faslodex (Fulvestrant)
Hello Ladies, I went to see my Onc Friday. I'm currently on iBrance and Faslodex but she said I tested positive for the PIK3CA mutation and she may put me on Piqray and Faslodex in the next several months. I just have one month under my belt currently with iBrance and Faslodex. I have little dots

6 Months Post Chemo - My treatment Sit Rep, 😎 DD
Being stage IV, surgery was ruled out, so it was ADT (
casodex
and eligard), Chemo (docetaxcel) which got about 40% of the cancer and Radio (VMAT, 60GYs) which killed the remaining PCa cells. So, six months after chemo, the nails on my hands have almost recovered.

PSA back on the rise - or hitting Nadir?
Had HDR Brachy and Low-Dose EBRT with
Casodex
. All good (nadir of 0.11) for 6 years, then BCR. I started Prostap injections \= \\bicalutamide 50 mg in Jan 2020 when PSA was >5. A sudden drop resulted in a PSA 3 months ago of 0.71.

Ibrance changed to Faslodex
Ibrance has failed so I'm being switched to Faslodex. What is your experience with the side effects of Faslodex? More physical pain? Fatigue? I'm not sure what to expect after reading all the "possible" side effects. Anja

Faslodex or exemestane?
Hi everyone, My mom's tumor markers came back higher, and her doctor wants her to switch from letrozole (which she's been on for 2 years) to either faslodex or exemestane. Just wanted to ask if any of you have used either and if there is a preference for one over the other. Thank you

Bone Mets
Exactly a year to the day of my initial diagnosis of metastatic cancer, imaging found extensive bone mets in my femur and hip. It is the osteoblastic type. I'm set up for physical therapy to work with the soft tissue on my leg due to the pain and also radiation. Scheduled a PET scan to see if there

How's your whiskers after ADT?
I've been on
Casodex
and Eligard for about 10 months now. My beard has virtually stopped growing and my skin is pushing out ingrown hairs. I was wondering how others on ADT are fairing with their whiskers, 🤔 DD.
