AF Back again
Well my
Cardioversion
did the trick for a little while, but I am now back in AF and due to have my 4th Ablation in 2 weeks time, this AF has been hard work this time as I have had to be off work for 6 weeks due to being totally exhausted.

Cardioversion recovery?
My husband had a
cardioversion
(his 4th) on Wednesday; it failed. He's feeling very tired and he says his chest feels a bit sore, like after heavy exercise. How long after your
cardioversion
, failed or successful, did you feel the effects of the procedure?

Acalabrutinib Side Effects, Arrhythmia, Cardioversion and starting TGR-1202
At the point of diagnosis, I stopped the Acalabrutinib, and last week I had the
cardioversion
to shock my heart back to normal rhythm. The big question is: Is the arrhythmia a side effect of Acalabrutinib or a natural consequence of my age?

Use of Amiodarone
I was on the EP list and my Bisoprolol was increased but stayed in AF, had the
cardioversion
and was advised to start on Amiodarone rather than go straight for an ablation.

Pacemaker at 50?
Anyone had a pacemaker at 50? My husband has had so many cardioversions and ablations I can't count them. Last summer he had a hybrid ablation where they cauterized the entire back of his heart. He was in surgery for over 10 hours and went into shock. He was in ICU for two weeks on a ventilater and

Advice please.
He had
cardioversion
three years ago which corrected the AF but it's back again and
cardioversion
didn't work this time, the consultant said he's going to have to live with it and has prescribed digoxin. Hubby is 68. Is there anything we should be particularly aware of living with AF?

To ablate or not!
I have been troubled with AF for many years and had one
cardioversion
. I was put on amiodarone which was reduced to nothing after a couple of months. During November to February I had an episode of AF each month, longest was 10 days, shortest 2 days.

Poorly husband post valve replacement and HAP - anyone with advice about recovery and care?
He was acutely unwell and required
cardioversion
for fast AF and is now home, but recovery is slow and he is extremely tired. If anyone has any words of encouragement I'd be so glad to hear them. With my kindest regards to all.

Pain after cardioversion
cardioversion
done last week still in rhythm but having problems with pain in lower chest and upper abdomen when walking. Calms down when I sit down. Went to A&E during the week and they could not find anything wrong. Advise me to attend my cardiologist appointment this week.

Permanent AF treatment with drugs
Hiya all, I have permanent AF I had a
cardioversion
op but it flipped back into AF after ten days. It is almost impossible to take blood and put a cannula in my arms and hands it can be done with a Doppler scanner but the operator needs patience and needs to listen to me.
