Has anybody had raised BP since cardioversion

No, and I have had 14 in 4 years, but maybe anxiety?

Raised compared to what period?

I ask because if you are certain you had a particular blood pressure prior to your afib then you may be right to flag it as raised.

However if you only became aware of your blood pressure when you were in afib lying on a bed in hospital probably having been given drugs that lower BP (calcium chanel blockers / beta blockers) could it be you are just now seeing a BP that has recovered to your normal? Just a thought .

I have had blood pressure all over the place in the last 3 years depending what state my heart is in and what drugs I have been taking.

I have recently come off flecainide and a calcium channel blocker (diltiazem) following a successful ablation and am currently trying to Increase exercise, eat healthily and lose weight to get my BP back to what it was on the drugs ( which were prescribed for AF not high BP)!

Every silver lining has a cloud! ???

My BP came way down after cardioversion. My afib was pushing heart rate and BP up.
