yesterday. Today my heart rate seems to be regular still but at around 50-52 bpm. I am feeling shattered and washed out. Should I be concerned?

What dose of Flecainide were others given for chemical cardioversion?
First one was 2 years ago and had
cardioversion
. I have had funny beats now and then but no AF until Saturday night. My cardiologist had advised me to present to A and E for pill in pocket trial when I next got AF so that was the plan.

AF, in or out
I’ve been in AF for 5 weeks and booked to have
Cardioversion
this Friday, but today I feel so much stronger and not breathless. Would this indicate that I’m back in normal rhythm. How does one know? Or is this wishful thinking so I do not need procedure on Friday

Once that was done I scheduled a second
cardioversion
. Interestingly enough a couple days before, which was close to 2 weeks of more flutter, I converted on my own and have been in NRS for almost 3 weeks now. Im hopeful that this trend will continue.

Cardioversion
I am booked for
Cardioversion
in two weeks and when I attended my pre admission assessment I was told I’m having an internal DV
Cardioversion
. Apparently this is new to this hospital - Norwich, but the surgeons have performed it in other hospitals. I am very concerned.

Pain in the neck!
Hi folks, I have been prescribed Bisoprolol 5mg daily for AF, followed, by a
cardioversion
12th October. Since taking the Bisoprolol I have had a pain in my neck and shoulders. I am feeling really uncomfortable. Is it possibly linked to the new medication or am I just a pain in the neck?

Best Anti-coagulants
Hi Everyone, I know I've written on here once before, but I went to St Georges, Tooting, for the results of my 5 day heart monitor after my
cardioversion
last December and the ablation in March.

Persistent AF and Ablation
Would be grateful for feedback from anyone with persistent AF who's had successful ablation. After 2 failed cardioversions ( both lasted around 6 days) wondering if this now best way forward or to stick with meds. Contact later this week from Cardiac nurse specialist so need to make decision. Had useful

Ablation for AF Today
I have been reading this forum for around a year now, and thought I would post today for the first time to contribute. Since being diagnosed with AF over a year ago, life has changed considerably. Not knowing I had AF, just thinking I was just ‘super unfit’ when trying to tend the allotment and sweating

Ablation One year on
A
cardioversion
in October helped and I had an amazing recovery, but only for two to three weeks before going back into AF. In 2017 I had a hybrid ablation; a mini-maze in April and an RF catheter ablation in October.

Does any know if the normal course of action would be to try a

before going down the second sblation route? Thanks Stuart

Sudden increase in heart rate
After two failed cardioversions and two failed ablations, the third ablation finally got me back into normal sinus rhythm in March of this year. An ECG in June plus a 24 hour monitor, confirmed that NSR was 'normal'. As a consequence, my dosage of Bisoprolol was reduced from 2.5 mg twice daily to 2.5

Just wondering whether I will need to take time off work for rest after my forthcoming
cardioversion
. I’m a Hospital Chaplain so usually walking quite a lot through the day. I’m new to all this and don’t really know what to expect. Any advice appreciated.
