Angiogram risk

cardioversion
early Aug) and I'm just getting a little concerned if there is any additional risk having this procedure while in

Post cardioversion
It's been 3 days since my
cardioversion
and I was hoping to be feeling far better than I do, I'm getting palpitations and still very tired, fatigued and feeling a bit shaky, my energy levels are so low.

New member - looking for others with similar experience
I had
cardioversion
in April 2021 which worked for only a short time (maybe 3 weeks). I was effectively signed off by the Cardiologist and GP as there are no other issues. I am not on medication and maintain a active sporting lifestyle.

Post cardioversion response
After 6mth in persistent (continuous) AF I had my first
cardioversion
5 days ago. Procedure went well, reverted to NSR and approx 60bpm after one shock and so far remaining steady, though still on 160mg sotalol. However my exercise tolerance is approx zero!

I have recently had an intermittent episode of AF requiring

so still feeling a little stunned by the diagnosis. I love filter coffee and have recently gone onto decaf coffee.

Pace and Ablate - Symptoms of Heart Failure after pacemaker and AV node ablation
My pacemaker was inserted three weeks ago for symptomatic persistent a-fib that no longer responds to meds,
cardioversion
, or ablation. I had to wait for the AVN ablation since I am sensitive to silicone and the pacemaker parts are coated with it.

Guess it’s back!
Their protocol was to administrate amiodarone then if that failed I was to be converted by
cardioversion
. I explained that I had a bad reaction to amiodarone and didn’t want
cardioversion
so they didn’t do anything but monitor me for the 6 hours in Resus.

The entire world is in an anxiety meltdown particularly in America! Hearts don't go out of rhythm for no reason
Having had 10 cardioversions and two ablations that left me a shell of my former self and medically traumatised me and damaged my heart, I implore you all to look deeper within yourself and attend to any old trauma from childhood any time in your life that has contributed to your carrying fear worry

Meeting with a new EP/Cardiologist
The final straw was my
cardioversion
I was supposed to have done Labor Day weekend. Long story but again, she caused issues by not doing her job right. That Thursday evening the hospital called to confirm what was supposed of been canceled on that Monday.

Ablation experience
I was then given a
cardioversion
and have been in sinus since then and heart rate is my normal 62. So, all in all not as bad as anticipated. I would have liked to know more about the procedure.

Would you say a DOAC is a treatment for AF or not?
The options are -long list of eg
cardioversion
etc which aren't relevant to me -medication -another form of treatment -I've never needed any treatment but I'm still under follow up I'm trying to contact the GP but their e-consult service doesn't seem to be available.

hi all I am currently on Amiodarine plus 15mg beta blocker , calcium blocker and 30 mg of a thinner now I don’t have AF 24/7 so I can’t have
Cardioversion
but my question is should I have episodes of AF with the amount of drugs I am taking?

‘When or if’ to go to A&E with AF episode and other general moans!
Now back to the decorating…3 AF episodes ( two of which required
cardioversion
) occurred after doing painting, DIY etc is that coincidence, paint fumes, more strenuous activity? I was contorting myself trying to paint our small bathroom, could unusual body positions trigger AF?

Ablation Success Rate
I have not had any surgery, and I haven't had a
cardioversion
. I am on rate control meds only. I will be seeing an EP in September, but my current cardiologist believes that I have been in AFib too long for any surgeries to be successful. I would like to know whether this could be the case?

Post cardioversion monitoring
Had
cardioversion
for atrial flutter yesterday. Looks like it worked. Was easy. I just have an arm bp monitor at home, other than checking my heartbeat rate how can I know if the
cardioversion
is holding other than symptoms which are not so obvious for me unless I exercise.

update after fourth ablation
Not needed as have not had any blips since a quick reset (
cardioversion
) in April after the fourth ablation in March. Besides, the flecainide is causing wide qrs so it’s becoming more problematic than helping. Anyone had problems coming off flecainide? (I’m currently on 100 mg twice a day.
