Help, advice or comments please
In January this year I had my first recurrence and started carbo/
Caelyx
. I was quite ill throughout but completed the course in July. Since then my CA125 has started to climb.

Advice & comment please!
I recently completed 6 months of carbo/
Caelyx
chemo (first recurrence and
Caelyx
discontinued after 4 sessions because of ongoing bad side effects). After finishing I had an MRI and saw the oncologist about 10 days ago for the results. He said he was pleased as there was no progression.

Help needed please. First recurrence. I'm so scared.
The plan is to start carbo/
caelyx
on the 17th and then Olaparib (I'm BRCA2+ve) if I respond well. Apart from the huge shock of this recurrence is the fact that I've now been reading up and fluid near the lungs makes me a stage 4 (I think). The doctor never mentioned this yesterday.

Feeling Alone
They're treating me with carboplatin and
Caelyx
(forgive if spelling wrong). The chemo is to keep me comfortable by shrinking the tumours as best as possible. I asked aged 51, if i would reach 60. Again very gently, i was told that it was unlikely.

First post, 3rd recurrance
I had 4 cycles of carbo/
caelyx
and then went on Niraparib with high hopes. I put my stomach churning down to the Niraparib for several weeks until 2 weeks again I had to admit it was ascites building up again.

Caelyx success rate.
Good morning ladies, I am apparently considered Platinum resistant and it has been suggested that I try
caelyx
on its own for my 1st recurrence. Has anyone had this as a single agent and did it do the trick? Many thanks for any info. xx

Damned neutrophils
My onc took me off the
Caelyx
after the first 3 because I reacted badly so I am just on carboplatin. My main worry is that unless I can have my last chemo and then get my neutrophils up to at least 1.5 then I can't go on my holiday to Turkey on 23rd August.

Cancer Returns
It will be Carboplatin again but this time also
Caelyx
( Don't know if I spelled that correctly). Basically, I live alone with my 2 beautiful Cats. All sorts of stuff is swirling in my mind at the moment. I do feel sorry for myself, I know I shouldn't. Any hugs and positive words are welcome.

Hello ladeez.
Previously she had Paclitaxel and carboplatin then she had
Caelyx
and carboplatin. She is really struggling to know what to do so she wanted me to ask you all what treatments had you been on and how effective were they etc. Thank you in advance of your responses xxx

Caelyx
I am on monthly
Caelyx
and having had second one find myself completely wiped out. Having had several chemos in the past where I have quickly returned to normal. This makes me a bit down so wondered if anyone out there has had any experience of this. Many Thanks.

CA125 continues to rise...........
My treatment starts tomorrow, carbo/
caelyx
. My breathlessness has increased and my bloating is causing my clothes to be very tight. I was dreading more chemo but am now welcoming its start.

Stopping Caelyx halfway through
Hi lovely ladies just wondering if anyone else had experienced similar problems with
caelyx
. I started carbo
caelyx
in January for my first recurrence and from the outset I found it really difficult. My chemo was delayed several times due to low neutrophils and I am now 7 weeks behind schedule.

Niraparib
Currently having 3rd line chemo
caelyx
every four weeks for my 2nd reoccurrence. Previously had carbo/taxol and then cistoplatin/gemzar which were all successful but now am platinum resistance.
Caelyx
is tough as has me knocked sideways. Ca125 are decreasing slowing.

Return to chemo
It’s cisplatin and
caelyx
this time. Ca125 at 165, from 20 after finishing the chemo in January, and pet scan confirming bad news in the pelvic region. The regime is a bit unusual this time - every 4 weeks. Have any of you been on that sort of cycle?

Parps and Caelyx/Carbo???
I have been wondering why some ladies are prescribed a Parp Inhibitor and some
Caelyx
/ Carbo after a recurrence? Is it to do with the grade and type of OC? Or The time factor between finishing chemo and the recurrence?? and which would be the best option?? Have a happy day💐

Roller Coaster
I was due to start Carboplatin and
Caelyx
in March but before that hospitalised for chest infection and then replacement of ureter stent and continuing devastating fatigue. Then out of blue, severe abdominal pain and found to have internal bleeding and needed 4 units of blood.

Icon 9
I am midway through my carboplatin/
caelyx
treatment and I have been asked to consider taking part in the Icon 9 trial when my carbo
caelyx
finishes. Has anyone else started on this regime and if so, how have you found it? Has it been bearable ? What were your side effects, if any?

Waiting for Appointment for Clinical Trial
I had the standard Carbo/Taxol initially, then a recurrence after around 4 months so was started on
Caelyx
, which didn’t work and was swapped to weekly Taxol.
