Dry eye drops recommendations
Hi. Please can anyone recommend some dry eye drops. I’m recently diagnosed with secondary open angle glaucoma and am on Brinzolamide and Travoprost. I’m assuming it’s safe to use dry eye drops without asking my consultant first? Many thanks.

Time between drops
I was diagnosed with glaucoma in April and am trying to get to grips with things - so apologies if this is a stupid question! I have just had my eye drops changed to Brinzolamide (twice a day) and Travoprost (once at night). Previously I was using Latanaprost only at night and Timolol only in the morning

Glaucoma Eye Drops and Heart Disease.
As a 75 yr old with heart disease, ( triple bypass 10yrs ago ) I’ve been diagnosed with the onset of glaucoma. I’ve been prescribed two eye drop medications. Travoprost, and Brinzolamide/Timolol Mylan. The side effects fact sheet is a pretty scary read etc, with particular emphasis on the heart. I

Brinzolamide
I have been on the above for a year recently I have developed very sore small red lumps at the side of my eyes. I am very careful when the drops so that they don't spill onto my face. Any help please. I have been referred for SLT soon but don't know if I will have to continue with drops.

Slightly low(below60) Diastolic Blood Pressure
Does anyone have a slightly lower diastolic blood pressure ( mine is sometimes 58,59) whilst taking Brinzolamide and Bimatoprost? On two occasions I have felt a bit faint. Thanks a lot.

Eye Drop Prescription Bottles don’t last 4 weeks
Hi, just wonder if anyone else has a similar problem. I take Brinzolamide twice a day in one eye and Travapost at bedtime. The Brinzolamide only ever lasts me 3 weeks although prescription says it should last for 4 weeks. Maybe because I am more concerned about getting a good dose each application. I

Eyeliner effect!
hi, since adding Brinzolamide eye drops morning and night it has made my eye lashes appear dark and as if I’m wearing eyeliner. Is there anything that can be done to stop this? These drops are working so reluctant to change them. I also take Ganfort in the morning. Many thanks

Brinzolamide and Monopost: timing the drops
Hi, I am on brinzolamide and monopost drops. My consultant today advised that my twice a day brinzolamide must be administered 12 hourly and the closer to this the better to maintain a dosage profile that prevents any rises in intraocular pressure. I was sometimes an hour out and this was considered

Brinzolamide eye drops
Good Afternoon, I have returned home from an appointment today and have been put on Brinzolamide drop alongside my Ganfort drop. What are peoples opinions on Brinzolamide drops?

Shortage of Brinzolamide eye drops
Just been to the pharmacy to collect a repeat prescription of eye drops and been told they can’t get hold of any Brinzolamide drops due to a shortage. The pharmacist said dorzolamide is an alternative and is available. Is it okay to just swap onto another eye drop like this?

Long term eye drop use
Hello folks. Does anyone have experience of long term usage of multiple eye drops please? I’m going back to see my consultant next week to review the results of the SLT from a couple of months ago. While my pressure still seems to spike at high twenties it hasn’t gone above that since the procedure

Pillow
I was diagnosed with normal tension glaucoma in February 2022. I was started on Latanoprost and now Brinzolamide has been added. I have been advised to sleep with a raised pillow or raised head-of-the-bed. I have slept with a flat pillow all my life (62 now) and will try to gradually increase the

Trabeculectomy recovery
Hello everyone I'm now nearly 8 weeks post op from a combined lens extraction and trabeculectomy in my right eye. Recovery has been... a process but so far everything has been going well but I'm a little concerned as my eyeball has become quite hard/firm when I try to massage it, just over the last

Trab waiting list and a few questions about Trab and NTG
I posted a month ago about the turn round of my diagnosis from a new doctor. I just had another exam and consultation with two more doctors. They are unanimous about the necessity of a trab, and very quickly. -otherwise, blindness, they spelled out. The doctor said my optic nerves are thin and in bad

Allergic reaction to eye drops
Hi, I am a 66 years old male and have been on Timolol/Bimatoprost and Brinzolamide drops for glaucoma since July 2021. I've recently developed red, itchy, scaly patches on my arms and these seem to be a reaction to the drops as indicated in the leaflet on side effects. Has anyone had experience of this

Think my eyes are rebelling!
Had to phone the emergency on call doctor yesterday morning, my eyes were so sore, red and I felt like I had been crying for days, spoke to Doctor and we think the latest eye gel for nights, which wasn’t preservative free has caused a reaction. Currently I’m on Tiopex, Brinzolamide, monoprost, steroid
