Does anyone else get this?
Do you take both the
Atrovent
and Ventolin when this happens? I find the Atrovent's generally more effective for me, though both together are even better; 30 mins is about the right time for the
Atrovent
to be kicking in so wonder if it's mainly that, if you are taking it.

Rant!!
I manage to get to grips with it and control it with lots and lots of ventolin and
atrovent
but now I'm feeling really crummy again.....my PF's are dropping and I am watching closely in case the visit to A+E I was expecting the other week was merely delayed.

Feel like I failed because I'm on pred. AGAIN
I went up on advair 250 when this first started (which for some reason was giving me way more heart issues than usual), so I requested to switch to flovent 220, but then was still having trouble so added taking
atrovent
4x a day (to avoid levabuterol as it also makes my heart race for hours).

Information required about Atrovent
I am currently struggling with my breathing at the moment although I have used all my medication and this evening my peakflow is 100. This question I have is, does anyone else use more that the required dose of an inhaler when suffering with asthma flare up. I am trying to avoid going to A&E this late

Frequent attacks and an annoying mum!
I believe im already on very strong medications (Seretide,
atrovent
, salbutmol, montelukast and antihistamines) and am really unsure on where they will go next. I'm sick of being on prednislone as its given me awful cramps and puts me in a rather horrid mood!

Xolair Trial
I'm on symbicort, singulair, theophylline, ventolin &
atrovent
and feel my asthma is fairly well controlled. I'm having a bit of a dilemmia as although I meet the study criteria i suspect i wont be able to recieve the drug after the trial ends- my asthma isn't bad enough.

Asthma attack and getting used to neb
I took for puffs of my rescue, and then two more puffs of
atrovent
a while later. Quite frusterated at the moment. It's very hard to work when I suddenly can't breath. At the moment I'm taking singulair, a steroid inhaler, and xopenex/
atrovent
nebs.

Asthma and being well enough to work.
I am on seretide 250, singualar, aminophylline, ceterizine, a nasal spray, have home neb with ventolin &
atrovent
nebs. My peak flow doesn't seem to get above 50% of it's best, only gets to about 60% with nebing.

Relievers?
He agreed going back on
atrovent
would be a good step but also as a reliever this means that now when i have an attack or just feel symptomatic im supposedly to take: Symbicort 400/12 x4, salbutobol x 4 and 2 puffs of
atrovent
and this can be done up to 6 times a day.

omron nebs...
How suitable is the omron u22 nebuliser for day to day use (e.g. 4hourly-qds usage) withh salbutamol and
atrovent
...or would i be better off investing in a different nebuliser? (ps. have been prescribed for home use by resp consulant... just to avoid any confusion) Emma
