Home Nebulisers
Hello All, At the moment I am unwell with Asthma due to a chest infection,I have been prescribed Amoxicillin, Prednisilone and Nystatin. My question is, I have read recently that home nebulising is no better than using your existing reliever, and I was wondering if it is worth me continuing with my nebulising

Since the 2nd week of September I have had a cold.My colds do usually last quite along time but now after 6 weeks I am tired and fed up. A couple of weeks ago I saw my gp as I felt dreadful. I had difficulty in catching my full breath which was uncomfortable and also a wheeze.I was given a salbutamol

Hi everone, thanks for replying to my 'asthma vs infection' post! Your advice was really good. I have still been unwell with my chest! My asthma is uncontrolled, and i am on apparantly to my doctor, the most steriods he can give me! These are Becotide 2 puffs 4 times a day, Servent 2 puffs twice a day

How long does it take to catch a cold?
I know, sounds like a silly question but I really don't know! My son had a cold/viral urti/chest infection? 3 weeks ago he had amoxycillin and pred and increase in theo to get him through it. He has had quite good lung function now for the past week (80%). Right, his sister now has a cold which started

Hi I have been on here a few times and have found other experiences very helpful. I don't really know what I am asking today. I had pneumonia 3 years ago and since haven't been right. My asthma has become volatile, i constantly have chest infections from colds and can't seem to get my life on track

Hi I'm new on here. Had asthma throughout my childhood and grew up on amoxicillin. Thought I'd grown out of it as I was asthma free in my 20's but it came back with a vengence in my 30's. I've been hospitalised in the past and end up in a&e at least once or twice a year needing a nebuliser. Up until
