Experiences with

Acenocoumarol

I know about stopping my acenocoumarol and going onto Injections. And being a high risk pregnancy . Any help or advice would be appreciated thank you x

I have just stared anticoagulation i'm on Acenocoumarol. I have taken 4 x 1mg for the last two days. The nurse came this morning to do my INR it was 2.2 which was done by a finger prick test. I am being told I am now in range and to now take 1mg and to now stop my Clopidogrel and Aspirin.

Do any of you have any experience of Acenocoumarol or know how similar it is to warfarin? I am sure my doctors will go through it all on Wed but it would be good to hear from any patients that have been on it. Thanks X

Are there any side effects from taking drug whilst taking acenocoumarol, plaquenil, statins, folic acid, vit d, lamotrigine? Can anyone help me please Lynzy

I too was worried and so I have changed to an Anticoagulant call ACENOCOUMAROL. I haven't heard of anyone else on this drug. I was told that I couldn't be on Apixaban because of my replacement valve. Is anyone else on this drug and how do you feel on it. I love this site. Thank you, Eileen Mary.

I take a lot of medications, but for APS I take 400mg hydroxychlorochine and 8mg acenocoumarol. My INR target range is 3-4. Many thanks :) Annie.

So, with the haemochromatosis under control now and my husband on Acenocoumarol, things are now looking a lot better than a couple of years ago.
