Creams, oils, special dressings - has anything worked for you?

We'd really love to know (Sweet's syndrome UK).

There's a lady on BSF HealthUnlocked who does camouflage makeup. She's posted some handy tips on covering scars, rosacea and pigmentation.

I have not tried it yet but plan to do IPL (it is pulse laser) I have a very red face and neck and my derm thinks I am a good candidate. This could reduce my flare ups but it could also cause a major flare??? I am cautiously looking at this and even did a test spot. I cannot find any literature on the web about IPL and Sweets (imagine this) Just kidding cause I know we are rare birds.

Hi freckles1, I'm struggling to find any decent info about IPL. If it's something that causes any kind of skin damage (including very minor skin damage such as skin reddening or irritation) you might want to avoid it. People with SS have problems with something called pathergy or skin hypersensitivity. Even very minor skin damage can sometimes trigger the development of new lesions.
