Blood Tests

Hi, I'm still waiting on a diagnosis but things are definitely looking like a Lupus decision, previously I've been told I'm seronegative, I'm now about to go for more tests including ANA, currently on hydrochloroquine and naproxen, but thinking I should come off the naproxen until after the blood tests to give a more true result?

Anyone else think or been told to do this in preparation for bloods?

Hi

Don't know if this will help you, but I recently had surgery on my cervical spine and was told to stop taking Naproxen 10 days prior to surgery.

I asked the surgeon the reason for this, he said the Naproxen interfered with platlet production (involved with clotting).
