I am sharing my story to highlight Syncope is a symptom, not a condition, as many, including my travel insurer, may not realise. I fainted twice in my life—once due to low blood pressure from stomach pain, and again in Canada.

After contacting STARS (Syncope Trust and Reflex anoxic Seizures) for advice, I learned that Syncope is considered a symptom, not a condition I'm grateful to STARS and their invaluable resources.
