Relationship between acid reflex and stomach pain

Hi, I have a question. Is that possible to have stomach pain in acid reflex? Not heart burn or burning feel but only stomach pain also feeling fullness is that because of my reflex or it has another reason?

It would be difficult to answer your question without knowing a little more.

Do you also have a Hypermobility Syndrome such as Ehlers Danlos, for example? I am not suggesting you have, it's just that a lot of patients with hypermobility syndromes also have POTS.

Because of the POTS you can have digestive issues, but my own experience is when those issues are from the interaction of POTS and HEDS (Hypermobility Ehlers Danlos Syndrome).

I will tell you some of my symptoms in case anything sounds familiar to you:

I have gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying), and borderline slow gut transit, so it can be hours and hours before my stomach is empty enough to eat. I do get stomach pain. I can have nausea. Because the stomach empties too slowly, I don’t feel the hunger properly so can leave it so long between meals that I am weak with low blood sugar before I realise I should eat something.

The advice I have been given includes having 6 small meals a day. Is this something you have tried already? I was also presecribed motilium to take 30 minutes before 3 of my meals, but was always forgetting and had so many medications to deal with anyway that I stopped taking it. It did help prepare the stomach, when I remembered to take it.

I do also have a a hiatus hernia. This can cause stomach pain, too. Have you been checked for this?
