Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get Midodrine cheaply? Or cheaper than we've been quoted by Boots. £500 for 2 months supply!

This drug is available on the nhs. your own gp cannot yet prescribe it as it is not yet licensed in the uk but you can get it through the pots clinics/hospital system. i am confused as to why you have not been told this. I am even more shocked you can buy it over the counter in this country or is this a quote you have had with a private prescription from prof Mathias or other?

Who put you on Midodrine ?

You can get in via your GP or Cardioligist in the UK

But it's under license.

I have been on Midodrine for two years and my GP provides the prescription recommended by Prof Mathias so I guess you need an Autonomic Specialist to prescribe it for you.

I've been on midodrine for over 10 years and always get it free from the hospital pharmacy who treat it as a prescription from the ward.
