Why do I faint and vomit when I come round?

I'm 72, female, weigh 8 stone, and am having faints only after I get out of bed and then bend down. There is no warning and I vomit when I come round. I was diagnosed as having two partially blocked arteries in the abdomen following a pancreas problem, although no other arteries have been investigated. My GP is arranging for me to have my heart checked. I'm devastated as I'm no longer allowed to drive.
