Hi. My name is Lori. I am 53 years young. I have degenerative discs, muscle/nerve deterioration and osteoarthritis. I use a walker and a cane. I am told if I have surgery that I am only guaranteed 20% chance of walking. I'm not giving up.

Welcome to the community lynnlori ! You have a great attitude! Are there exercises that your doctor recommends for strengthening your knees?

Lori, We are here to support you! I just read a post from Hoski and she got a recumbent bike and started 5 min a day and worked up to 30 min. Her knee pain has improved as well as her mobility. Would you be able to use a recumbent bike? Movement is the key to making arthritis pain better...honestly it really really helps!
