Hi all , I am taking beta blockers for anxiety and high bp. I have been told that beta blockers not suitable for Raynaud's sufferers.

G.P said give it a try and it has not adversely affected circulation Is this because anxiety reduced? - My Raynaud's always worse when tense.

You are quite right that Raynaud's is worse when stressed.

I was told that you can't have Beta Blockers if you are on Niifedipine which a lot of Ranauds suffers are on.

I am on a calcium channel blocker but not nifedipine . Same doc. prescribed the beta blocker, so hopefully knows what she's about! Been on both for 4 mths and no ill- effects
