has anyone found caffeine makes raynauds worse as i heard this, i am newly diagnosed and trying anythink to help thanks

Hi SandyCharlie, I only drink decaffeinated coffee and decaffeinated cola. My only source of caffeine is my morning cuppa (tea). So I'm not a good candidate to answer :(

thanks anyway.....i love my coffee but if its does help going over to decaf i will...will c if get anymore answers thanks again x

Yes, caffein constricts the blood vessels. As far as possible I have decaf coffee, tea and coke. I have decaf coffee for breakfast and the occasional drink during the day and decaf tea otherwise. Rington's I find very good.

Me too, i find that a low caffeine diet really helps the raynauds

Yes it does make it worse. Beware the hidden caffeine culprits - the most annoying of these for me is chocolate. If find herbal teas are a more acceptable substitute than decaffeinated versions of the real thing; carob is a choc substitute but doesnt really hit the choc spot!
