My tongue used to go numb from the tip back in the cold weather - my medication has now cured it thankfully. It is a very bizarre sensation and a bit alarming when it starts happening.
When I was first diagnosed with scleroderma my 2 front teeth stayed numb, it took a couple of months of methotrexate and prednisone to stop that. I have heard scleroderma can affect your tongue.Good Luck!
