Achilles tendonopathy
Hi I'm a bit late, but are you still in pain? Hopefully not. But if you are what Rehabilitation have you done or been advised with?
Hi, unfortunately I am still having issues with pain....I my initial surgery was in November last year followed by physio which was severely hindered by hypersensitivity; various treatments including acupuncture and shockwave treatment, not to mention various drugs! At the end of June I had a second op, calf lengthening, and am now tree weeks post plaster and trying to get back to normal. Like before am now back starting physio with calf stretching exercises, swimming and sports massage. Pain in my heals prevents me wearing closed shoes, I am unable to raise on tiptoes and cannot drive a manual car as this too is painful. To compound matters what has hitherto been my good foot has now deteriorated and may also need surgery! Walking and standing is limited and curtails what I do.
Im rally sorry to hear that sounds Like you've really had an awful time of it. What triggered this all Off?
If you'd like considering how bad this is I'd like to invite you to my clinic for a free consultation see if I can help get get a better clinical picture work out a progression plan together. Im based in Bushey near Watford otherwise happy to chat over the phone. I'd really like to help.
