Skin cancer does NOT only occur in moles‼️

The other (non-mole) basic warning signs we suggest you look out for are:

📍A new red or darker colour flaky patch that may be a little raised

📍A new flesh-coloured firm bump

📍An open sore that doesn't heal

📍A spot or sore that continues to itch, hurt, crust, scab, erode, or bleed

In this story, it was a sore that didn't heal that Katy discovered, but took around 2 years to be diagnosed as Basal cell carcinoma.

Like myself so many people think skin cancer is only changes in moles. That is why I delayed seeing a dr with a pink raised lump which has now grown significantly and turned into a wart like growth. I seen my dr and been referred under the 2 week rule to the hospital & go on Thursday for a suspected SCC
