i was using aloe vera on a rash , it said on the bottle it could also be used as a deodorant. Not sure how effective it is but it would be gentle.

Yes, I am allergic to deodorants which contain Aluminium so use MooGoo or Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Sport which are both Aluminium free.

Thank you. Looks like a few options. I’m making a list.

Interesting—I will have to check to see if ones I’ve tried all have aluminium. Could be culprit.

I use Nuud - it’s really effective and you only need apply it every few days. Before that I tried a number of ‘natural’ antiperspirants/deodorants but found that they either didn’t work or they gave me a rash. Good luck.

Thank you. I’m making a list of suggestions

Same here about causing irritation or “didn’t work”. Or the latest one left a waxy-feeling coating!

Sigh

ps I like this possibility of only applying every few days That would be so nice

I just don't use it much. If I wash every few days or when I've exercised or been under stress, I'm usually fine without deodorant. I think we've been lead to believe we need this and fabric softener and so many other things. Perhaps some people sweat more than I do.

No Pong was really good for me for a long while. Then I had a huge flare up of various new auto immune diseases I hadn’t known I had, and put on a lot of new meds and the bi-carb in No Pong started to cause a mild rash. I changed to Kissing Chickens that is for sensitive skin and it was great. After a break from No Pong and no current flare ups, I can use either. Woohoo is also really good.

Kissing Chicken’s deodorant I found online, Woohoo from healthfood shops and No Pong is from healthfood shops and now Woolworths.
