I’m guessing you had your treatment fairly recently. It does get easier. In the meantime, my top tips are…
Concentrate fully on the here and now, notice the things you’re enjoying, especially moments with your children, friends and family.
Eat healthily, plenty of fruit, veg, salads, pulses to support your immune system.
Try to get out into nature each day, even if only for a short walk. Notice what’s going on around you, and maybe take your children and introduce some I-spy type games. Make it fun.
Trust in your medical team. They will be there for you if you need them, I’m sure. Try to look outwards instead of inwards…..as I said, we all share the fear, even, in my case, after 20 years of good health and a few anxious moments along the way.
Try to support others on this platform, then see if you can find some good advice to give that you can follow yourself.
Good luck xx
I totally understand and feel the same way. I feel I can't even trust the scans because I have all these physical symptoms. I am planning to start zoloft soon. The letrozole isn't helping my mental and physical pains, and I sometimes think I should just go off it, at least I can deal with things better off the medicine.
My daughter is on zoloft and she hates that it made her gain alot of weight she is normally skinny and could nvr.really gain weight around 115 she was now she's 180 this happened within a couple months just thought I'd let you know they lowered her dose last wk and she is slimming dwn a little bit ,it made her look so bloated and swollen.
