Ca125 year after 3 scans

Hi all. I seen the doctor on Friday and cyst has grown and ovary is enlarged and was sent for ca125 bloods straight away I go back in june to discuss what’s next. I’m new to this and don’t understand what will happen

Have they given you any indication of what they suspect is going on? Do you have your CA125 results yet? One of the challenges is all the waiting - waiting for test results, waiting for doctor appointments, waiting to find out where you go from here. Best wishes - Gwen

I went last week doc said my mri showed enlarged ovary and hard cyst and said he would see me in 4 weeks to discuss surgery and to have the ca125 on the Friday too. So that’s all I know until the beginning of june. Thank you for your reply

I just surgery to repair an umbilical hernia. I was intermittently nauseated and vomiting and day a hernia doctor. He said I had to wait until I was done with chemo and wait 6-8 weeks. But fate stepped in and I ended up in the emergency room which lead to a10 day stay in the hospital and emergency repair of the umbilical hernia, ultimately caused by advices build up and the pressure it put on my insides. I am stapled from belly button, all the way down. I say get it fixed ASAP in the hopes it can be laparoscopic.

I’m surprised he was having you wait 4 weeks. What was your CA125? How are you feeling physically? Please keep us posted.

Hi thank you for reply. I don’t know ca125 results I imagine I will get them when I go back in june. I just want to know what I’m dealing with rather than the unknown
