Does anyone know how long before zeluja start working?

Hi Pili111, I have been on Zejula since May and my CA125 is slowly falling,right now at 13.

My doc says it looks like it's working,won't know until I get CATscan in Oct.

How long have you been on it and do you have any side effects? I only have dry mouth so far. Doing good on it otherwise. Keep the faith.

I’ve been on it for about 2 months. I had to stop for about 2 weeks because my platelets were low. Now I take 200 mg a day. Go for blood work every week. I don’t have many side effects but very tired. But las week I went for a pet scan and found a few new tumors growing. Dr told me to let the pill work. So I will get another pet scan in about 5 weeks. So I don’t know if it’s going to work. This is my second recurrence with cancer. First was in December 2015 and second in dec 2017. Hopefully it works. Because I hate chemo. I’m really happy that it’s working for you. It gives me faith.

Hi Pilar, I am on 300mg a day. I have had chemo on and off since 2013.I've been on Avastin for maintenance for about a year,then back on chemo.Now hoping the Zejula will work for awhile. I too hate chemo but it seems to help me when I do need it.

Yes,stage 3c ovarian. Since 2013.

Hi, I am high grade serious carcinoma ovarian stage3c. I am braca negative.

Been on and off chemo since 2013. Doing good so far on zejula. Hope you are doing well.

I have been taking Zejula since Jan started with 300mg. Lowered to 200mg after 2 weeks due to low blood counts.

Was going every week for a couple months, now coasting once a month.

CA125 has been 8-9. Have ovarian (peritoneal) stage 3c. Surgery with chemo 2015 & again 2017 followed by Avastin the last round, however kidneys started failing. Discontinued & started Zejula. I now alternate dose 100mg one day then 200mg next due to sleepiness nights. So far CA125 # staying low. Hoping to stay off chemo!
