Has anyone had their ovarian cancer spread to their throat, I’ve a new tumor growing on my vocal cords?

I got Diagnosed in Jan 2017, and had a 8cm tumor removed, now I’ve one growing on the inside of my throat, has this happened to anyone else?

That’s a new one to me. Have they biopsied the new tumor? Have they talked about treatment options yet? Best wishes. Gwen

Maybe they can used targeted radiation, (SBRT) to help

Dear friend have not had this problem but have ovarian cancer since 2014

And there are many new medications don’t give up mentally stay strong

I am so sorry to hear about your battle!!! I have heard people with cancer that it has been known to travel upwards in our body.

Dear Ivster, I have been lucky in that my cancer stayed in my peritoneum. Has your oncologist suggested any targeted therapy studies? I pray everything goes well for you! Please keep us posted! 💖Margaret

Thank you Ladies, I’m having a ENT Oncologist look at it on March 14th, so hopefully it’s not cancerous, but I will keep you informed 💕

My friend who was diagnosed with OC 12 years ago is also having her vocal cords investigated just now.

She loses her voice at times or it is very husky.

My friend's biopsy result came back and it is not cancer.
