I am a new member and happy to have found this group. I am 51 years old and 15 mos NED. I am starting an Ovarian Cancer Peer Support Group for the Lehigh Valley (Pennsylvania). It meets this Thursday evening 7pm in Trexlertown (near Allentown). If you live in the area or know a patient/survivor who does, please pass this information on. I’d love to have you/them join us. That is awesome that you are forming a local support group. The support opportunities for someone with ovarian cancer have come a long way in the past decade with more and more face to face groups specifically for ovarian cancer patients rather than being a stepchild in another group, the online list serves and chat groups, SHARES one on one helpline, and groups that meet by teleconferencing. It means so much to be able to connect with other survivors by whatever means. Thank you and good luck!
