I am on Letrozole 25 mg and Ibrance 75 mg. Last summer I developed a feeling of pins and needles all over my body when I went outside in the heat. As a result, I am petrified of the summer in Texas. Has anyone experienced this? I don"t know if it is related to these drugs or if I have a vitamin deficiency or what it can be related to.
Thanks for any ideas

Hi there! I’m not on Ibrance/Letrozole anymore because of progression. When I was on that combo I would get pins and needles feelings whenever I was hot, agitated or flustered. I think it’s from neuropathy from these meds. It went away when I changed protocols to Xeloda. Hope this helps! Take care.
Thank you all for your response. It makes me feel better that I am not the only one with these crazy symptoms. My PCP suggested I take gabapentin, but I hate taking medicines. He also suggested I stop taking the Letrozole for a week to see how I do, but my ONC was not happy with that idea.
I am on that combo and experience that as well. It happens to me only on the hottest days if I am in the sun so I try to avoid getting overheated. It has to be from the meds as it started after I was on them. I also believe it is from neuropathy, annoying but not harmful. The feeling goes away if I cool down. If it is very troubling to you should talk to your doctor, there are meds to combat neuropathy.
