Hello!I just completed nine months on Xeloda (which did not work for me) but which comes with potential side effect of mouth sores.

I developed them right away but found (through a lot of googling) a magic combination:

1. Brush teeth morning and evening with toothpaste called SQUIGLE, available on Amazon:

amazon.com/Squigle-Toothpas...

2. Follow up with mouth rinse called PREVENTION, also available on Amazon:

amazon.com/Prevention-74258...

My mouth sores resolved immediately and I never again, over the course of nine months, had an issue. What treatment are your receiving currently? Prayers that this side effect is resolved!

God bless you!

Linda

Hi Linda,aCurrently, I am on Eribulin , two weeks on and one off and xgeva every three months. I am noticing that then nothing. \xeloda was offered as a pill but thought I might fair better with infusion-- guess I will see. How low did your white and ANC get on xeloda? My white just dipped below normal but at is the first time in a very long time. I did not have much problem on taxol with counts- only once in a year.

Linda, your suggestion came just in time for me. I formed sores on the side of my tongue from Piqray (4th day) making it difficult to eat. I just ordered the toothpaste and mouthwash. Thanks for posting.
