Anyone on Zeloda having headaches?

I’ve been having headaches every other day or so. I’m on 1000 twice a day. Anyone else having headaches. I’m used to slight fatigue and gasiness but not headaches.

Dlid you mean Xeloda? I was on that for a short time. Had some twinches of headaches but nothing constant. Maybe you could ask to have the dose reduced. It sounds like you are taking a heavy dose but I don't know. Can't remember what dose I had. Sorry not much help. Call oncology. They will help.

Hi Gwennie, my side effects move about! I did have a bad headache for a couple of days near the end of the 14 days.. so I just stopped taking it. The headache went very quickly, and did not reoccur on my next round. I am now down to 1000xtwice a day too. I only ever managed to take it for 9 of the 14 days in early rounds - always stopping early. What is working for me is to take 5 days on 2 days off 5 days on.. and then continue taking it for the last 2 days if I can. I have managed 10 and 11.5 days out of 14 that way. I like this protocol as it seems a bit less relentless. My onc says just take it as much as you can in the 14 days without major side effects. My mets were stable at last CT - they had been growing before.
