I usually have more energy on my week off. I wish it was longer! Going from 3 weeks on and one week off on Ibrance to 2 weeks on and one week off has screwed up my mental schedule of when to take my pills! It was easier to plan on a monthly schedule! But I am liking the Capecitabine a lot more than Letrozol, I seem less fatigued most of the time.
I do 2 on and 1 off. In the beginning, the week off was terrible! It has eased up, and now there is little difference. (I'm on 5th or 6th cycle)
My cycle is one week one with one week off at 1000 mg twice a day. I am about 4 months into the therapy and haven't noticed any change in my energy level. But being hunkered down due to Covid has not helped my mental state.
I feel the worst 4 days after my last pill of the week....but feel pretty good the rest of the time in both weeks....sometimes 40 min or so of queasiness and gassy feelings in the afternoon...but that’s about it! As I’ve said, I really like this drug!
