You are so right. The rules are becoming much stricter here in NY. Every single day. I had to stop watching bc it became too overwhelming and all I could do was cry.

Hi Teddie,

Told off for buying a light bulb?! Oh dear! I was questioned by a police officer yesterday as I was about to go into Savers. I needed to buy some paracetamol, as I only had six tablets at home and I didn't want to run out in case my family and I needed any. Fortunately, she didn't tell me off. She just reminded me that I should be heading home soon after that, which was what I planned to do anyway. Provided we are sensible and follow the guidelines there is no reason to be afraid if we are stopped by the police.

I am not sure if you are Catholic or not, but I recently watched the movie Risen with Joseph Fiennes. Especially now during the Holy Season, it is the perfect time.

It details a Roman soldier's (Clavius) search for Yeshua's (Jesus') body following his resurrection, believing that the Jews had removed his body and hidden it AFTER Jesus had already been crucified. Clavius is given this responsibility by Pontius Pilate.

I plan to watch it again bc I always feel so much better and more renewed in my faith .

If you choose to watch it, I would love to know what you thought of it and how it made you feel after watching it.

I’m Catholic but not a good one I’m afraid...I was convent educated and married in the Catholic Church but didn’t bring up my children in the faith
