Does anyone know if radiotherapy affects blood sugar levels?

I’m not sure about the treatment itself. When I had radiation, I was given steroids to control the inflammation caused by radiation. Steroids most definitely can affect your blood sugar.

Thanks, they haven't mentioned steroids to me, so I guess I should be ok 🤞

I am prediabetic & had no problems but do ask your doctor or radiation technician questions if you are concerned as that are what they are there for to ease your mind. Best of luck to you. 😊
