I was staying home because of my age (over 70) when I was diagnosed with cancer and started chemo. Now I have to be extra-careful, as does my daughter who takes immunosuppressants for Rheumatoid Arthritis. My husband seldom goes out, and when he comes in, he throws his clothes in the wash. Our other daughter does our grocery shopping and drops the food off in the garage, where my husband wipes it down before bringing it into the house. Today, she plans to put a chair on the front porch so we can visit through the storm door.

Isolation during chemo
You have a very sweet and considerate daughter. It's obvious you raised her well!
Hello! Wishing you the happiest possible Easter . It’s good to know your daughter is in communication and you have a thoughtful husband around at present .
Take care and enjoy each day .. the birds are singing loudly here in Bournemouth which I take as a good sign x

Hi,
You are very lucky to have a daughter who looks out for you even when she herself is risking being exposed. Also lucky to have a husband who loves you so much that he is willing to go that extra step to wipe down your groceries. And finally, lucky that you have a porch to at least get some fresh air. I live in New York and many of us don’t have that but it’s ok. Going through chemo is rough and I’m glad you have a support system. Stat safe🙂
