I did internal brachytherapy radiation 2 years ago & have had 2 instances of delayed inflammatory responses to the radiation. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I've had inflammatory responses as well, not a fun experience. Have you gone to pain management/palliative care.

No, I haven't tried that yet, but I may have to. I'm taking a week of steroids right now to see if will stop inflammation & pain. When I was doing my radiation treatments 2 yrs ago, I ended up in the ER with pleurisy. Which was also an inflammatory response to the radiation. I had no idea that inflammation could be an ongoing problem. It's very painful. I'm also dealing with lymphedema in my arm. Sometimes it's a bit overwhelming.

Same here with lymphedema, it can become very overwhelming. Good luck, I hope the steroids help.
