Clinical Trial proves that Psilocybin mushroms helps alleviate depression and anxiety in cancer patients which was reported in the New York Times. Published Thursday, the results from that study, and a similar small, controlled trial, were striking. About 80 percent of cancer patients showed clinically significant reductions in both psychological disorders, a response sustained some seven months after the single dose. Side effects were minimal.

This post is 3 years old and I just saw the trial on TV this past weekend. It’s a shame that it is not ready for patient use yet while so many people suffer. It’s ridiculous that hydrocodone is readily passed out to patients and something like mushrooms could take forever to approve for safe use.

Well said LotusAFlower. Do you suffer from anxiety and/or depression? I am agoraphobic w/ panic for 24 years. Tried psilocybin but was "unable to let go". I hope to try MDMA at some point in the future but for now every day is a struggle.
