I’ve had herpes since October, I’ve had a few very small outbreaks which have been fine. I’ve currently had an outbreak and they are really, really itchy...just wandering if anyone has any suggestions on how to sooth it?

Are you using acyclovir? It can shorten the life of an outbreak. You can also get small alcohol pads (used to clean injection sites) and they will dry an outbreak and stop it spreading.
