This is for other growers out there. How did ur size affect you both physically and mentally seeing the difference in others. See plenty posts on here about size but mostly showers proudly showing them. Were u embarrassed changing around others. Did u cover urself up after changing or shower with ur trunks still on.

I have never understood the logic behind showering with trunks on post gym or swim. Also remember when you look down at your dick, it appears smaller than the way others see it because of the way your brain processes the image.

Unfortunately I wasted years upon years self conscious about my size always embarrassed in the locker rooms. Since I've learned to accept I have what I have the locker room doesn't bother me at all anymore. Wish I had learned a long time ago to just accept it as I wasted too much time focusing on it.

As a young fella I didn't care less but when I hit puberty I started to wonder how I measured up. I think I was more curious than insecure. I presume because I was growing bigger and I knew that other lads were too.

Fortunately I had a close mate growing up. He was bigger built than me - still is. We saw each other naked often as we had bathed/showered together as young lads and in changing rooms when we went swimming etc so I knew I was similar in the dick department even though I was smaller built.

I never covered myself up as the sports culture at school/clubs was for everyone to shower nude. Looking back the antics in the showers sort of instilled a team spirit and camaraderie that we were all the same despite variations in size of body and body parts.

It was also interesting as a teenager seeing gradual changes in your mates' bodies...the rate of growth of body hair (pubes, chest hair, facial hair). Seeing their cocks change too must have helped me just accept that my dimensions were in range of my age group.

There are some bigger (they have issues from finding pants that fit to frightening/hurting their sexual partners) and some smaller (issues imposed on them by unrealistic porn-warped ideas of size). But as long as your equipment is healthy and functional, that's what counts.

I am grateful every morning I wake up with wood! Even more when I randomly gey one during the day like an 18 yo!

One final thing: measurement of the adult dick is hard (pun intended). Many size studies use self-measurement which is totally flawed given our male ego to have a massive dick. The only studies that are worth anything are those where dicks are independently measured. Those studies are few as they require men to be measured soft and then hard by a researcher.

The independent measurement studies decrease the length of the average dick to about 5 inches hard from what I've read and the ethnic variations is also bollux (pun intended).

I’ve always said you’ve got what you’ve got.. I’m small when flaccid but I’ve made 3 kids so it works 😂 I’ve never been self conscious in the showers, yes I’ve looked and thought wish I was like that. My teenage lads are bigger than me and 1 is very large and he finds it more of a problem and has said he wishes he was “normal” like me !!!! So even the bigger boys sometimes get penis envy

Growing up with brothers all of us different had no choice sharing a room to be embarrassed think this helped us to be comfortable with ourselves and with what we have.

I’ve taken the open approach with my lads and always discussed any subject, or question, I’m not embarrassed to talk about anything anymore and don’t care what others have, we are all different and unique

I have definitely struggled with low self esteem since the shower in the gym bathroom days in high school when I became aware of my smallness. As I have aged this has improved (the esteem, not the size). I am happy with my size when erect and have embraced my status as a grower, not a shower. Not sure it matters much to the ladies, and who needs one anyway that sees it differently. Besides, I have no problem with a lady who is not stacked (as the French say, anything more than a mouthful is wasted).

In another post, you mentioned that you take tamsulosin. Have you noticed an increase in the size of your flaccid penis since taking it?I take it and I have. I looked it up and it is a recognised “side effect”!

I don't cover mine in the locker room, although I am having a little more than Asian actual size only. My most concern is how CLEAN that area is, including hair, and skin, etc. You will agree with me that a huge penis but in a forest of untidiness will be nothing to be proud of!
