Our recent survey shows more people feel comfortable using an AED once they learn that:

✔️An AED speaks, giving step by step instructions

✔️You can’t do any harm using an AED (it will only work if required).

One of the things I’ve made sure I did over the last month was go on a CPR course which included Defib training. It was all brilliant advice I hope I never have to use. But it gave me the confidence and understanding should I ever need it. Following my STEMI I need to give something back, share my experience (I’m 42) and make others aware. I didn’t realise Defibs were such amazing pieces of kit. Literally lifesaving ❤️‍🩹

I am very pleased to hear that! I truly believe that learning how to perform CPR is a life skill that should be made available to everyone as you just do not know if and when you might need the skills to help in saving a life. You will find a full range of information on our webpage heartrhythmalliance.org Alternatively, please do not hesitate to contact our Patient Services Team if you have any questions.

Thank you Tracy. I’ve joined my local voluntary CPR course colleagues now following my course with them to support them and do what I can going forward. Passionate, like minded people. I’ll also see if we can add the links to our website. We are CPR counts in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. Chris.
