Echo anxiety

My husband (50, HA and stent fitted last weds) had his echo today. I Was sat watching. I’ve watched that many videos/read/researched that I’m driving myself a bid mad and over thinking everything . The sounds and heartbeat all looked ok, she took many pictures of the scans and was circling some of them so this has made me particularly anxious. She told us she had been doing the job for 20 yrs but wasn’t particularly friendly. When I asked in her experience does she think she saw anything abnormal? She just said that she couldn’t say and the dr will contact us. I asked when? She says when he has looked at the results. Oh, Thanks. How long do you usually have to wait and If there is something serious would they contact us sooner? Tia

Hi, if they'd been anything to worry about on the echo your husband would have been kept in there & then. Try not to worry too much, I know that's not easy

As already stated your husband would have been treated asap if anything was amiss. But the nurse is not allowed to give any diagnosis and no doubt had a bad day as well. The main problem lies with your member of Parliament and also the Law society . both are allowing ambulance chasers to rip off the NHS big time. The Law society is not penalising enough these disreputable companies and your MP is also failing to bring into law totally screw down of these companies . So next time you get a knock on the door in the next couple of weeks bring this point up with them. They need you more than you need them.
