Stage 3 of sarcoidosis

My father has had sarcoidosis for about the last three years but I don't really know that much about this illness the consultant just tell us about the bloods test and X-rays, but not much about the illness he has this illness of the lungs, not really sure what stage 3 means?

Hi Tillymay,

Firstly I'm so sorry to hear your father has sarcoidosis . I'm afraid I don't know what stage 3 means either. I'm currently in so called remission yet I still feel so poorly. There really isn't much help or info out there for us sufferers I'm afraid. Did your fathers condultsnt not explain about what he meant by stage 3? I hope your father finds his answers I tend to Google everything I don't understand ( and believe me there's plenty with this horrid disease.

Thank you so much Annie for your reply, I'm going to ask what stage 3 is next time we go to the hospital, he has to see the consultant again in July so I will ask then, I hope your having a better day today I feel really sorry for people with this horrible illness, and your right there isn't much help out there take care sweetie xx

Hi, I was diagnosed back in 1992 and have been receiving treatment ever since with steroids.

Wanted to ask if you ever found out what "Stage 3" is / was?

Will be going to the Royal Brompton in Jan 2018 so may ask there if I get the chance.
