Yep..I tried them...they had no effect on me. I think you would need a much stronger magnetic field to have an effect on the body.. I know lots of people swear by them for lots of ailments but I personally put them in a class with homeopathy and reiki...not much of a believer.

Yep, i have also tried them and had no luck with them...

So sorry you have your leg in plaster, must be a nightmare with RLS. Are you taken any meds at the moment for your RLS...You may have to up the dose a bit while you are in plaster. But i would see your doctor about that first...

Am taking ropinarole (Requip) at the mo and this has really helped.

Doc suggested I try leg wraps for a month without Requip but if no good, to go back on meds.

Yes I was on the trials some years ago and it did seem to have some effect at first but then it didn't work, I sometimes still use them along with my medication when my legs are particularly bad but on the whole I would say no.

Yes I tried them too. They did not help me much either. I once tried a magnetic bracelet which made my legs feel really light and I felt like i could jump really high etc etc., but it seemed to have adverse affects on other parts of my body like my face muscles in my cheeks would tighten and feel crampy and really hurt all day long. So now I stay well away from magnets but it is only because I am a crampy person normally and I think they improve your circulation but this only made my crampiness even worse. Also there are different types of magnets out there, with different strengths and it also it depends if it is North Pole facing etc. You may need to read up on them. Good Luck.

have never heard of any good lasting results with anything along that line. LOTS of people think it should work, but so far, not too many good reports. It actually stimulates your legs, and that is the last thing I, persoanlly, wnat, for sure. I have tried many types if these machines, and nothing, but did it to make certain doctors happy. VERY RARE that it will help, especially with a cast on your leg. ooowweeeeee, what did you do!?

Slipped on wet floor at school-it had been raining-no-one's fault really. Just fell awkwardly.

I tried magnets on my hip down where the sciatic nerve goes, it help for a few days, the restless legs did stop for awhile too. but everytime I walked passed the T.V. I kept turning the channel over so gave them up. I find if my legs get cold the restless legs are worse,so I wear knee length socks and that helps alot.

Yes, I bought some second hand so did not waste too much money thank goodness!

They did not help at all, sorry. Try magnesium supplements- they are helping me at the moment.
