If you are in the UK, then look on the NHS Choices website, it will show ALL medications that are used in the UK......there is no best one, you have to try them to see which one suits you. We all react differently to meds. so what works for one person, maybe another's nightmare...

There is no best one. For example my best med is one that Elisse cannot possible take. Go to the web site she posted and the go read the treatment page on rls.org and the list of "Drugs and Foods to avoid" You have to weigh your options, listen to our stories, read our posts, etc. Once you have spent time on this web site, you will see that everyone is doing something different. I have studied RLS for 14 yrs, and I wish it WERE that easy, but it is all trial and error. Certain people can take certain meds that others cannot. You just have to do more reading. There is no one answer to your question. :)

The newest one is the Neupro patch, maybe not the best, unless you try it, you will not know. We have different experiences with different meds between all of us. I can't take any of the approved meds. Luckily, I am in the US, so I can go "off label".
