It doesnt sound like RLS, you have to have the 4 criteria to have RLS. Look at the Questions, i have put on there the 4 criteria for someone else. RLS, isnt anything to do with the muscles, it just feel like its in the muscles sometimes.

Look at the Question....Help and information needed. That where the criteria is to tell you if you have RLS..

Thanks a lot, but I do not fit the usual RLS picture.

I am no medic but going by the very little information you have given us, it could be that something is going on with your spine. I would suggest you talk to your gp about these "twitches".

Does not sound like RLS, off the bat anyway. some people have hard tine describing it. But, if you do not have the "URGE" to HAVE TO MOVE and you cannot suppress it, is the calling card for rLS. It is not muscle twitches, as you are describing. rlshelp.org is a great web site, and make sure you check out the diagnostic criteria that Elisse put up. That is the key. The word "URGE" has to be in there. Do you have trouble sitting for long periods of time, like a whole movie, or a long meeting? The idea is that you have to get up and MOVE (capitals used for emphasis). also, check out rlshelp.org where you can write to the RLS expert there. The treatment page and "Foods and drugs to Avoid" IF you have RLS, is golden.

Thanks for your letter, I do not have an urge to do much, I just move the part and it stops. Two days ago I got a twitch on the fore-arm and i could see the movement on the surface. Will look at diet.

Thanks again,

If you can actually see the muscles moving, it does not sound like RLS, although you could have ore than one thing going on. magnesium is great for "muscle twitching". If you do have RLS it is at a realy mild stage right now. Of course,. check with your doctor before starting any supplement or med, but magnesium relaxes the smooth or larger muscles. RLS definitely is not anything you can see, like twitches, but you sure do feel it.
